Dodged A Bullet, In A Sick Way

So as a followup to my
Job Interview Diary, they didn't offer the job so I didn't have to negotiate a salary. I'm supposed to find out if I got the job within the next week or so.
I interviewed with about 7 or 8 people. It was pretty intense. The first meeting was with the HR lady, who was very nice. Her last question had to do if I had a salary requirement. I said I had a vague idea of what I'd accept. She said, "Do you want to share it with me?" It seemed inappropriate to say "no" so I told her. I don't know if that was a mistake or not.
